am new to the site. How should I proceed to get my organisation
registered? |

|
You need
to register first as a member of the site by going to Members>
Become a Member. After registration, you can login with your
username and password and you shall be guided to create an organisation
to proceed further. Note: You need to
be associated with an organisation to access your workspace. |

If I want to join an existing organisation
rather than creating a new one, how should I proceed? |

|
You can list the organisations and contact
the Primary Contact Person of the desired organisation to get
an invitation to join that organisation. |

| |

As a Registered Member and Primary
Contact Person of your organisation ...
You can Invite other people from your Organisation to be a part
of the workspace.
You can edit your organisation profile and answer general questions
about your participation in the interconnection process in the
preparation site to be released end of September.
You can declare intention of activities of your organisation
in the Polycentric events in any of the three locations of Karachi,
Caracas and Bamako.
You can join the Theme Discussion Forums (one for each location)
of the Polycentric Event. |

What
is difference between the Primary Member and Contact Members of an Organisation? |

|
The Primary
Member of an organisation is the official administrator of the
Organisational workspace on the site. He alone has the right
to add/edit the Organisational profile and invite members on
behalf of the organisation. |

Can
the Primary Member be changed later on? |
| |
|
The Primary and a contact
person can be changed anytime afterwards by going to Organisation
> Organisational Contacts > Manage Contacts and switching
the Member roles. |
